Scotty's Music Career:

Scotty's debut album, Clear As Day, was released in October 2011 and certified platinum. Scotty also released a Christmas Album, Christmas With Scotty McCreery, in October 2012 and it certified gold. He then released his third album, See You Tonight, in October 2013. One of the songs from the album called, “See You Tonight”, became his first song that reached the top ten on Billboard's country charts.

He has also won many outstanding awards. In 2011 Scotty won Artist of the Year:New Artist and Best New Artist. In 2012 he won USA Breakthrough Video of the Year Award on the CMT awards. In 2013 he won Artist of the Year: Breakthrough Artist on American Country Awards. He was nominated for many other awards during this time frame.

Scotty is also know for his support involving many charities. Scotty supports St. Judes Children's Research Hospital. He was also recognized for his charitable service to NC with the Order of the Long Leaf Pine Award. He also gave to the foundation 12.14, which supports families of the Newton, Conn. school shooting. He is involved in many more organizations where he devotes his time and energy.
